Overview

Shibling Games ("we", "us", "our") operates shiblinggames.com and seasthebooty.com, and makes the Tide Run app for iPhone. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. We keep things simple. We're a small team, not a data broker.

Information We Collect

• Email address: if you sign up for our mailing list via the newsletter form on our homepage.
• Purchase information: if you buy through our Shopify store at shiblingshop.com, your order and payment details are handled directly by Shopify. We receive order confirmation details only.
• Game account data: if you play the Small Fishes online game at seasthebooty.com, that platform maintains its own privacy practices. Please review those separately.

Tide Run (iPhone App)

Tide Run stores all of your progress on your device only. We do not collect, receive or store any personal information from the app.

Tide Run shows ads between runs, served by Google AdMob. To do that, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app collects the device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when iOS asks), a rough location from your IP address, which ads you have seen and tapped, and crash and performance data. Google uses this to serve and measure ads under Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can decline tracking when iOS asks, or later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and ads still show, just not tailored to you. In the EU and UK the app asks for your consent first and you can change it any time from Privacy options in the game's locker. A one-time purchase in the app removes the full-screen ads; that purchase is handled by Apple and we never see your payment details. Everything else is unchanged: the game keeps no account and stores your progress on your device only.

Apple Game Center provides the leaderboard and achievements under your Game Center nickname. Apple handles that data under Apple's privacy policy. Beyond Game Center and the ads described above, nothing leaves your device.

How We Use Your Information

Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies. Our Shopify storefront may set cookies to manage your cart and session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on shiblinggames.com.

Third-Party Services

• Shopify: processes purchases at shiblingshop.com. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: used to load typefaces on this site. Google may log your IP address when fonts are requested.
• Apple Game Center: used by the Tide Run app for its leaderboard and achievements. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: serves the ads in the Tide Run app. See Google's Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses your data.

Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link in any email we send. To request deletion of your data or ask any privacy-related question, email us at hello@shiblinggames.com.
